Halos updates itself, inside After Effects.

When a new version is out, Halos shows "Download update" in its panel. Click it, close After Effects, and the update installs. Your settings, saved expressions, library and licence stay as they are.

Halos checks once a day

Or open Window > Extensions > Halos > Settings and click Check now.

Click Download update

The download happens inside After Effects. There's nothing to find or unzip.

Close After Effects

On Windows the update installs as soon as After Effects closes. On Mac the installer opens; click through it.
